Today officially marks six months to Election Day, and trust me, it’ll be here before we know it. I wanted to reach out personally this afternoon to share with you the importance of consistent, grassroots contributions.

You see, folks, one of the things I’m most proud of is how strong our grassroots team is. We raised close to $50,000 last month and nearly 90% of that came from grassroots contributions — people pitching $5 here and $10 there to power this campaign.

So I have a bit of a different question for you today: Will you join our base of monthly supporters by pitching in a few bucks monthly?

A strong base of recurring supporters is vital to ensuring that our volunteers have the resources they need to reach voters across the district. One-time contributions help us meet big moments or major deadlines like end-of-quarter, but recurring support helps us keep the trains moving.

I was talking with our finance team, our monthly recurring support could use a boost. Only about 4% of our support each month comes from recurring grassroots donors. 

That’s why I had to reach out personally today. So will you commit to a monthly grassroots contribution and increase your impact through Election Day?
