I know Florida's already facing the sobering reality of extreme limits on abortion, and it'll only get worse now that DeSantis' six-week ban officially took effect on May 1.
That's why I'm thrilled that Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is running to defeat Rick Scott and his massive personal fortune. But I just heard that we're $14,624 behind on our $50,000 emergency goals.
With so much on the line, I can't sit and watch as Scott's expensive ads threaten Debbie Mucarsel-Powell's chances. If enough Floridians come out to demand the GOP stands down, not only would it reinstate reproductive health care access across the Sunshine State ... it could also be what ends Rick Scott's Senate career.
And if that happens, we might just be able to keep the Senate blue ... and finally get federal protections for abortion across the finish line.
