John,
On Friday, a California man was arrested and charged with sending death
threats to Fani Willis, the female district attorney in Fulton County who
is prosecuting Trump for 2020 election interference. The man suggested
that she "will be killed like a dog", echoing the rhetoric of the former
president.
Women's March has been sounding the alarm about the threat of political
violence -- a reality that hits particularly hard for women engaged in
politics, like us and many of you and your loved ones.

Less than a month ago, The Guardian reported that a survey of gun owners
revealed that an alarming number are willing to engage in political
violence. The real risk to political leaders and activists, especially
women, must not be ignored or underestimated.
We won't let harassment and intimidation stop us. But we must take the
threat of political violence seriously, and take measures to ensure the
safety and security of our staff, volunteers, and participants.
