Thank you. Whatever action you took, however you showed your support for this
changed Labour Party, thank you. It’s a privilege to have you with us.
Across the country, voters are turning to a Labour Party that’s back in the
service of working people. Britain wants to stop the chaos, turn the page and
start to rebuild.
That’s down to you.
Today, we celebrate. But tomorrow, it’s back to the task at hand - delivering
the next Labour government.
And, from these results, from the by-election gain in Blackpool South to the
Labour wins in councils, mayoralties and police and crime commissioner contests
across the country, the message is crystal clear: it’s time for a general election.
