It’s May the Fourth — Star Wars Day. And we at Team Schiff are big, big
fans (you can imagine the excitement when Mark Hamill endorsed Adam).

These days, there are far too many comparisons one could make between the
evils of the galaxy far away and Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is commanding Republicans’ loyalty. Through fear. Through
anger. Through hate. Through suffering. All of this proves that MAGA
extremism retains its hold on the collective psyche of the far right.

Remember when Darth Vader Force-choked the Imperial officer who dared
question “his sorcerous ways?” As Trump campaigns for president for the
third time, he is growing stronger by the day — and silencing all dissent
within his party. Remember, he threatened to support primary challengers
to any Republican that voted *against* censuring Adam.

His consolidation of power means that we must oppose him with everything
we’ve got. Our Democracy’s fiercest defender needs our help.

That’s Adam. The Force is strong in this one.

The Force is all around us. It’s you. It’s us. It binds this grassroots
team together.

Trump’s use of brute Force, and Mitch McConnell’s manipulation of the
levers of the Senate a la Palpatine, will require a countervailing Force.

Adam has spent years defending our democracy — and many of Trump’s biggest
enablers remain in the Senate. That’s why we need to help Adam on his
mission. This is where we must take our fight.
