John, May the 4th is here, and we can’t help but feel the Force stirring within us. This year, it’s not just about celebrating our beloved space saga. It’s about defending our country as the Empire Strikes Back!

That’s right, John. The dark side is lurking, led by Donald Trump and his battalion of right-wing extremists. If we let them succeed and retake power, it will spell disaster for millions across our country – threatening everything from our most fundamental rights to our very democracy. But together, we can defeat them.

We’re basically the Jedi Order of politics here at Run for Something – and we’ve got a band of courageous candidates ready to take on the dark side and defend our democracy from right-wing extremists. 

But be warned, our heroic candidates can’t win this battle alone. If we don’t join forces in this Alliance, the dark side is bound to take over, threatening to disrupt democracy as we know it. It’s up to you to join the battle and help tip the balance back in our favor – because freedom is always worth the fight.
