I wanted to reach out and give you my heartfelt thanks for your support over the last month.

Because people like you came forward during our hour of need, we were able to achieve our end-of-month fundraising goal and head into May stronger than ever.

I can’t tell you how important it is for us to make these monthly goals. Now that we’re officially on the ballot, people are watching our campaign to gauge our strength and see whether we have what it takes to beat John James in November.

And just to be completely transparent, that isn’t going to be easy. James is getting a significant infusion of cash from his GOP backers—$3 million at last count.

I might not have as many deep-pocketed donors as James, but I have something much better: grassroots supporters like you.
