Happy Derby Day, John!

Today is a celebration of all things Kentucky, and a perfect opportunity for a not-so-subtle metaphor about the race for House control in November.

But if you’re already sold and eager to get back to Derby Day, would you please consider chipping in a quick $10 or $25 to give us a quick fundraising start out of the gate for May?

With the GOP spending and doing whatever they can to cling to their narrow House majority, we’re definitely the underdogs coming into the battle for House control, John.

The oddsmakers are betting against House Democrats this November, but here’s the thing:

I’m betting on us keeping KY-03 blue and flipping the House.

But winning elections is a team sport, and while this is a marathon, not a sprint, we can’t afford to fall behind early. It’s time to saddle up and get to it, John!
