With the start of May comes another fundraising deadline for our campaign, but the truth is this deadline is a bit different. Let me explain.

May 29th is an official FEC deadline — our last one before polls close in Virginia’s primaries. That means at the end of the month we are legally required to report how much money this campaign has raised since March.

This is a potentially huge moment for our campaign, Thomas: the press, grassroots donors, our opponents in the primary, the Republicans who want to take me down, even Trump’s campaign, will all be watching to see how we do.

It’s critical that we end this month strong and prove that our campaign is the one to beat the GOP in November and help take back the House. So that means we had to set our most ambitious fundraising goals yet for May.

So, I’m reaching out today to ask you to help us kick off our official pre-primary FEC fundraising drive:
