John, Donald Trump just held a massive MAGA rally right here in my mid-Michigan district. His speech was full of division and lies, and it made one thing clear: Trump and the GOP will do whatever they think it takes to win in Michigan. So I’m asking for a donation today to win my tossup race that will decide control of Congress and defeat the MAGA GOP in Michigan:
Here’s what happened:
Trump praised his hand-picked Supreme Court for overturning Roe v. Wade, giving states the opportunity to rip away abortion rights for millions of people. He doubled down on his claims that the 2020 election was rigged in Michigan. He even restated his plan for a new Muslim Ban.
His agenda is radical and dangerous – but it’s not just Trump. All of my Republican opponents went out of their way to endorse, attend, and kiss his ring. If they win this House race, you can bet they’ll rubber-stamp his agenda in Congress, no matter what.
Trump came to mid-Michigan because he sees it as his ticket back to the White House. And his MAGA allies know if they want to win back the House, they need to win our swing district and defeat me.
