This is Scott Baugh here – in case we haven’t met yet, I’m the Republican who came within 3 percentage points of dethroning left-wing Progressive Caucus Leader Katie Porter last cycle… even in spite of her raising more than $29 million for her campaign warchest.
Now, Porter is officially out of California politics with her unsuccessful run for U.S. Senate.
That’s right – Republicans have a golden opportunity before us to FLIP CA-47 and finally restore thoughtful conservative representation to the O.C. Get this – the Chair of the NRCC is even calling this district the TOP TARGET for Republicans in the entire country!
Make no mistake, though – this is also going to be one of the most expensive and competitive Congressional elections in the country, too. Democrat Party leaders aren’t going to let us gain ground in California without putting up a fight!
But I’m ready for the challenge, John, and I’ll tell you why, right before asking you to join me in this critical mission (don’t worry – no donation required).

I grew up on a farm and learned from an early age the value of hard work and the importance of Faith, Family, and Freedom.
Now, I’m a local business owner with a passion for serving my community.
I served Orange County in the State Assembly, standing up for conservative values in the face of California’s far-left politicians. I’ve chaired both the Orange County Republican Party and Orange County’s Gang Reduction Program, where we provide kids a chance to succeed in life while preventing violent crime on our streets.
This has been my home for over 33 years – I love the O.C., I love my neighbors, and I love the life we are able to live in this special place. That’s why I do my best to give back everywhere I can.
But here’s the truth – under far-left leadership from the likes of Katie Porter, our representatives have been taking us in the wrong direction.
Their “solution” to every problem is more taxes and more spending even when Americans struggle to afford gas, food, and basic necessities.
They’ve gone along with the far-left immigration policies of the Biden Administration that have left our Southern Border exposed.
And they’ve refused to take action on the rising crime in California that’s leaving our neighborhoods unsafe.
This election is our chance to finally get things turned around. We must restore thoughtful conservative leadership to CA-47, make O.C. Red Again, and deliver policies that serve the interests of folks in Orange County… NOT some left-wing Democrat agenda.
