As you may have already seen, on Monday I announced my candidacy for Mayor of Wilmington. Throughout this week, the outpouring of support and encouragement has been incredibly moving. But I know that this race will not be easy and the work is just beginning.

Together we will work with state officials, school districts, and community leaders to improve public education in city schools; prioritize expanding affordable housing in Wilmington; invest in small and minority-owned businesses across the city; protect taxpayer dollars and make sure the city has a strong, sustainable financial position.
