The people of Texas have an important choice to make in November, John: Who will represent them in the U.S. Senate for the next 6 years?

The first option, you have Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz is a MAGA extremist who’s used the U.S. Senate to parrot right-wing talking points and dangerous conspiracy theories. He previously co-sponsored a nationwide abortion ban and even went to Mar-A-Lago to grovel to Donald Trump.

The second option is Colin Allred. Democrat Colin Allred is a fourth-generation Texan who fought to protect the right to vote as a civil rights attorney and served in the Obama administration. He beat a 22-year incumbent to flip his Congressional seat BLUE — and now, he’s running to retire Ted Cruz in November.

The choice is simple: We need Democrats like Colin Allred fighting for our families in the Senate. But with Texas ranked as one of the most competitive races for November and two recent polls showing the race TIED, we’ll need to start fighting back now.
