New reporting shows that Elise Stefanik hasn’t been entirely truthful about her past. She’s repeatedly downplayed her substantial wealth in an attempt to fabricate a narrative that she came from humble beginnings.

Are we shocked?! Absolutely not.

Too many Americans are forced to make hard choices because they’re struggling to make ends meet. Some can’t afford healthcare. Others have to work multiple jobs just to pay the bills. And they’re frustrated with politicians like Elise Stefanik who spend more time trying to overthrow democracy than solving real issues like healthcare and childcare costs.

But for Stefanik it’s all play-acting. It’s shameful that Elise Stefanik would make a mockery of the very real issues Americans face just to make herself more relatable to voters. She continues to show us that she will say or do whatever it takes to gain more power and win Donald Trump’s VP pick.
