Hi,

Elon Musk just laid off nearly 2,700 workers at his Tesla plant in Austin,
TX after months of union busting and worker exploitation.^1

It’s not just union busting, Elon Musk is fighting to undo worker
protections and get rid of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the
federal agency in charge of worker and union protections. Recently, Musk
filed a lawsuit to destroy the NLRB, ridiculously calling it “the very
definition of tyranny.”^2

Elon Musk is no friend of workers, and he’s definitely no friend of unions
— and that means he doesn’t want to see the PRO Act pass Congress.
Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act would restore the right of
workers to freely and fairly form a union and bargain together for
improvements in the workplace. Basically, a nightmare for Musk.

Musk has been attacking union efforts at SpaceX too. After SpaceX workers
circulated an open letter criticizing Musk for, among other things,
“issuing inappropriate, disparaging, sexually charged comments on
Twitter,” Musk fired them, which is illegal under the National Labor
Relations Act.^3

Congress needs to put an end to Musk and all other big corporate union
busters with the PRO Act today!
