What is a Green New Deal? And why are we fighting to pass a federal Green
New Deal resolution?

The answer is no secret: communities across the nation are currently
facing multiple intersecting crises aggravated by the negative effects of
the ongoing climate crisis. With each passing day our government fails to
take action, we grow another day closer to an irreversible threshold.

That’s where you come in. In order for this movement
to be successful, we need to be on the same page about what we’re fighting

From devastating winter storms in Texas leaving millions without
electricity to skyrocketing housing costs, people all across the country
are facing overlapping crises that are compromising the safety and health
of our planet and its people. These crises are daunting, huge in scale,
and compounding on top of each other, leaving many people in despair about
how to create the change we so desperately need.

Enter the Green New Deal.

This coalition is working hard to pass a Green New Deal at the national
and state levels as quickly as possible — and we’re increasing the
pressure on our leaders to say no to Big Oil's interests + money and put
people first.

Our fight for a more just, equitable, and sustainable future becomes a
reality with a Green New Deal at the local, state, and federal levels.
That’s why it’s important we are all on the same page about the
possibilities of a Green New Deal and what we’re fighting for. So let us
