Plan ahead for Wine on the Fox
Are you coming? The weather looks great for this weekend's Wine on the Fox [ [link removed] ] presented by john greene Realtor on May 4 & 5. Check out the newly released program [ [link removed] ] to view wine selections, food options and the entertainment schedule. Today, May 3, is the last day to purchase packages [ [link removed] ] and save at least $5 and score more beverage tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door and are good for both days of the festival.
Free parking will be available at The Reserve of Hudson Crossing, the Village parking lot on south Harrison, Village Hall and on-street parking in the downtown area.
"Not attending? Expect delays and allow plenty of time to navigate through the downtown area on Saturday and Sunday or choose a different route."

Free brush collection starts next week
A tidy brush pile [ [link removed] ]
The Village offers free brush collection throughout the growing season by zone. Free brush collection takes place in Zone A starting May 6 and Zone B on May 13.
Place all brush at the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday morning of the designated week for your zone. Pile brush neatly so that the ends of the branches are all facing the same direction. Do not put brush in a container or in the street. Brush collection does not include contractor waste or large stumps.

Move with the Mayor on May 18

Inhale, exhale and get moving along the Fox River with Village President Ryan Kauffman on Saturday, May 18 at 4 p.m.
Move with the Mayor [ [link removed] ] participants will meet at the pavilion in Hudson Crossing Park to warm up and then walk the trail for approximately 30 minutes. Water and healthy snacks will be provided.
The national [ [link removed] ] Move with the Mayor program encourages people of all ages to connect as a community and engage in physical activity to improve physical and mental health.

Heads up! Hydrant flushing

Public Works crews have started flushing fire hydrants and will continue through May 31.
Be prepared by watching for signs at the entrance to your neighborhood. On days that crews are in your neighborhood, finish your laundry before 7 a.m. or begin after 6 p.m. to avoid clothing discoloration.
