Our grassroots campaign recognizes that this is an incredibly difficult time for families and individuals across the country. Some of our own are experiencing the direct impact of our new reality. John, we’ve said this movement is about putting people first and we’re keeping our word.

Last Saturday, our team joined Genesis of Good Samaritans Ministries, Inc., The FOOD Soldier, and Mid-Ohio Foodbank to distribute food in our community. Even with the fear of this pandemic, hundreds of people showed up to receive free, fresh food. That’s more than double the number of people they usually feed — and it shows why we need to come together.

Throughout this campaign, we have been talking about the need for systemic change to address long-standing inequalities that this crisis is exacerbating. But during this urgent health and economic crisis, that has to be paired with direct action right now to support our community. Morgan is showing us the kind of community leader she is and will be when we sent her to Congress!

Here are three ways to take action to help this community:
