I’m excited to share our top six state legislative priorities this year:

- Ensuring that we pass a strong climate bond for the 2024 ballot
- Pushing for hydrogen fuel to be exclusively green
- Ending oil and gas subsidies
- Passing SB 252 to make public pensions divest from fossil fuels
- Passing SB 1497 to make polluters pay for the climate crisis
- Passing AB 1176 to advance electrification capacity

It’s important for us to be tactical and strategic in our work. So while we may be covering a wide breadth of issues at once under the big climate action umbrella, when we focus, we win!

As the fifth largest economy in the world, California has an outsized responsibility to create a roadmap for climate action. What we do will impact not only Californians but all Americans for generations to come.
