Here's an important number to remember as Congress heads back to
work this week, Samuel: 65,844,610.

That's the number of Americans who voted for a progressive vision of
the future -- that includes keeping and expanding affordable health care.
It's also 2.9 million more Americans than the number who voted for the
Trump agenda of taking away your health care while paying for tax cuts
for the rich.

And yet, starting this week, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are going to
hit the ground running on their efforts to repeal Obamacare, even before
Donald Trump takes the Oath of Office on January 20th.

They may claim they have a mandate, but this is not what the majority
of Americans voted for. Add your name if you're one of them and are
committed to joining the fight to protect the progress we made under
President Obama, especially when it comes to affordable health care:

And here's a few other numbers to keep in mind, Samuel: repealing the
Affordable Care Act would cost as many as 30 million Americans their
health insurance. A nonpartisan analysis also showed that once the
GOP's "repeal" plan goes through and they fail to come up with an
actual plan to "replace," nearly 59 million people could be uninsured by
2019 -- a higher uninsured rate than when the ACA was passed in 2010.

Donald Trump campaigned on promises to help the middle class, and
right now we're seeing just how empty those promises were. The GOP's
actions are going to do the exact opposite -- but as Democrats we're
going to do everything we can to fight back, and that work starts today.
