Finishing Primary Season Strong 💪 |
Friends,
We are almost there! Tuesday, May 7th is Primary election day!! To all those who have already cast their votes through early or absentee voting -- thank you!! Your unwavering commitment ensures that we pave the way for Republicans to be elected and provide leadership for our communities, our state, and our country, which allow our families the best opportunity to live the American dream.
If you have not yet voted, please make sure you take the time on or before May 7th. We also need your help!! It’s important that we ask our friends, family, and fellow Republicans to get out to the polls, or better yet, take them with you when you go to vote. It is imperative that Republicans show up and VOTE to elect our leaders of tomorrow. This is your opportunity, go vote!
While Tuesday is an important benchmark in this election year, this is only the next chapter of a long journey. We have many days of work and campaigning ahead of us to ensure we win back the White House and the U.S. Senate, while retaining Republican supermajorities in the Statehouse and a Republican Governor. Our effort and commitment will help us to achieve Republican victories at every level come November! If you are unsure about your voting location you can check your voter portal at indianavoters.in.gov. Thank you for your continued support and for all that you do. |

Governor Eric Holcomb announced a $2 billion investment from Google to build a new data Center in northeast Indiana, in Fort Wayne.
What he’s saying: “Indiana has made it a strategic priority to cultivate the economy of the future and we’re already seeing the impact of our work thanks to the partnership of companies like Google,” said Gov. Holcomb. “Not only is Google choosing Indiana to power its global AI and cloud infrastructure, but we’re thrilled to see the company already investing heavily in the northeast Indiana community. These initiatives will help skill up our Hoosier workforce, preparing residents for the jobs of the future. And, at the same time bringing clean energy resources to the region propelling continued growth in industrial sustainability.” -
Gov. Holcomb said in press release.

Indiana State Treasurer Daniel Elliott Announced Indiana's Purchase of Another $5 million in Israeli Bonds 🇺🇸 🇮🇱 |
Indiana State Treasurer Daniel Elliott announced the purchase of another $5 million in Israeli Bonds, bringing Indiana’s total investment in the U.S. ally to $110 million.
Israel is a long time, strong ally of the United States, and Indiana is proud to not only show them our support, but to also see the great returns on investment for our state. Treasurer Elliott has doubled down on previous investments in Israeli bonds, throwing his support behind our ally despite the current attempts to set up encampments on college campuses, including Indiana University. We at the Indiana Republican Party applaud Treasurer Elliott.
“While there may be a few loud individuals on college campuses and other places that want us to abandon Israel, I believe now is the time to refocus and recommit to our most important ally,” Elliott said. “We don’t need to boycott and divest, but engage and invest.” The Indianapolis Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), the public affairs, interfaith, and intergroup relations arm of the organized Jewish community, released a statement in support of Treasurer Elliott. “Thank you to Treasurer Elliott for his leadership,” says Jamie Ratner Rich, JCRC’s President. “Investing in Israel bonds sends a loud and clear signal that Indiana stands with and supports Israel.” To read more about this investment, click HERE. |
A Massive Week for the Future of the Hoosier Economy Statewide! 👏 |
As a reminder, while these numbers are big and flashy, what's important is the meaning behind them. These numbers mean more jobs, higher wages, and more economic opportunities in every area of the state.
Combined, last week saw the commitment of $14.4 billion in new investments and 1,500+ high-wage new jobs on their way to Indiana. These new investments are bringing new jobs and higher wages to local economies across Indiana. These statewide investments highlight the strength of the Hoosier economy in all 92 counties, reaching from the far southwest end, all the way up to the northeast side of the state. Here's a rundown of the investments we saw just last week! 1) Toyota - $1.4 billion committed to their existing facility in the southwest end of our state in Princeton, IN.
- 340 new jobs created by 2035 (Toyota already employs 7,500 people in southwest Indiana).
-
The company’s investment will provide new plant infrastructure, including a new battery pack assembly line at the facility, to support production of an all-new battery electric SUV.
- Toyota’s Princeton facility has been part of the community for nearly 30 years and has invested a total of over $8 billion since arriving.
-
This is Toyota’s 3rd major expansion of their Princeton facility in 4 years.
-
Toyota isn’t just investing in their own facilities; they’re investing in the community. Toyota has supported multiple projects, including the new Toyota Indiana YMCA in Princeton and The District housing complex in Princeton, to provide access to health and wellness, community support and housing for all residents while helping employers like Toyota and its many suppliers attract even more talent to the region.
2) Google - $2 billion committed to a new data center in the northeast side of our state in Fort Wayne, IN, powering the company’s AI innovations and growing Google Cloud business.
-
200 new jobs, including facilities, data center technicians and support services, security, and grounds keeping.
-
The Google Skilled Trades and Readiness (STAR) program, in partnership with Ivy Tech Community College, will help increase the entry-level pipeline in the skilled trades. These pre-employment programs offer paid training and networking opportunities to help participants move directly into employment on local construction projects.
3) Amazon Web Services - $11 billion committed to build a data center campus in north central Indiana.
- 1,000 + new jobs.
- THE LARGEST COMMITTED CAPITAL INVESTMENT IN INDIANA HISTORY.
- The new data centers will contain computer servers, data storage drives, networking equipment, and other forms of technology infrastructure used to power cloud computing capabilities, and generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
These commitments are a combined $14.4 billion in new investments and 1,500+ new high-wage jobs.
Indiana is not just bringing in new jobs and stimulating local communities, but we are bringing in jobs of the future so that we can see these economic gains for generations. |
