John, so many friends have asked me how my life has changed since Colin decided to run for Senate against Ted Cruz. I always tell them the truth: It’s a huge sacrifice, and the work never ends. 

But from the moment Colin and I first talked about him running for Senate, I knew that there was no one better for the job. 

Texas is our home, and I know Colin will do whatever it takes to lift up our community, do the hard work, and build a better world for our kids – because that's exactly what he's done every day since I met him. 

Over the past year, I've seen Colin's hard work pay off: The first polls showed him trailing Ted Cruz by 5 points – now, recent polls show him TIED with Cruz, and experts are calling this race a battleground!
