Friends -

Now more than ever, we are seeing why public health needs to be represented in Washington. The Trump administration has been cutting public health budgets for years and even eliminated the NSC's pandemic response team in 2018.

My opponent, William Timmons, has been a vocal supporter of Trump and has voted with him 94% of the time. One of the only times Timmons voted against Trump's wishes was 3 weeks ago when he was one of just 40 House members to vote against the bipartisan Families First Coronavirus Response Act.

It's clear that Timmons won't act in the best interest of the people of Upstate South Carolina, and it's time for a change of leadership in South Carolina's 4th District.

We need somebody in Congress that understands the value of public health and will fight to prevent another outbreak, not vote against relief when we're in the middle of one. I have my Masters of Public Health in health policy and have been working in public health advocacy and policy for years. I am the right candidate to fight for public health in DC.

If you're in a position to donate, can I count on you to chip in $25, $50, or $100 to my campaign? ([link removed])

I've dedicated my career to fighting for public health, and I am ready to take that fight to Congress.

Best,

Kim
