I can’t believe I’m saying this, friend, but Marjorie Taylor Greene told me to ”shut the f*** up”.

I’m past the point of being surprised by Marjorie Taylor Greene’s lack of decorum, but this might be a new low — even for her.

During a House Oversight Committee hearing, Chairman Comer was yammering on about Republicans’ sham impeachment inquiry against President Biden. When I interjected, Marjorie Taylor Greene loudly told me to “shut up,” then moments later mouthed to me, “shut the f*** up.”

This is where today’s Republican Party stands. Majorie Taylor Greene’s behavior is not only normalized within the Republican Party but is often even applauded. It’s deeply concerning that Republicans can’t engage in political discourse without resorting to childish behavior.

I’ve been vocal about House Republicans’ blatant abuse of power in pursuing a baseless impeachment against the president, and Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene don’t appreciate me calling out their investigation for what it is: a baseless sham investigation that was infiltrated by spies from both Russia and China.

We can expect the MAGA attacks to keep coming my way, but I can guarantee one thing for certain: I won’t shut up. And I won’t stop standing up for the truth and the rule of law as Republicans sow chaos and division to chip away at our democratic institutions.
