Click here John, Washington’s nature is spectacular – from the orcas in the Salish Sea to the rolling hills of Spokane, and from the mighty Columbia River to the snow-capped mountains near the Canadian border, the nature that surrounds us also sustains us. We cannot survive without nature: the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the places that restore us. That’s why Washington Conservation Action’s work to protect nature protects people, too. John, will you be one of 30 people to donate TODAY as part of our GiveBIG Early Giving challenge? No matter where we live, we all depend on clean air and water. Climate change threatens those things. We are seeing record-setting heat and more intense wildfires that are threatening our air quality and health. This is not tomorrow’s problem – it's already happening. That is why we need you to donate now, we are pushing forward bold climate policies and building the climate movement in Washington and your support will help us go further. Help us continue fighting for bold climate action and a cleaner, healthier future for all. Thanks for making a difference. Meryl Ellingson, Annual Giving Manager ![]() ![]() John, Last month was the hottest March ever, continuing an 11-month streak of record-breaking global temperatures that started last May. Here in Washington, the state just declared a drought emergency as we transition into the spring with about 60% of our normal snowpack. We are already needing to brace for severe wildfires and smoke later this year. The crisis we are watching is worsening exponentially. But the number of people leaning in to act on climate is growing too. Which is why the climate movement in our state is one of the strongest in the nation. Make a gift TODAY so that we can continue our year-round work to move forward bold climate action here in Washington state! Our work to protect the land, air and water that sustains our communities does more than just help our state, it sets an example for the rest of the country. So, John, if you live in Washington, care about protecting people and nature from the worst impacts of climate chaos, and still haven’t joined our phenomenal team of supporters that power our year-round work, what are you waiting for? We're in this together. Thanks for your support. Alyssa Macy, CEO |
