As our weather warms up, I just love the
"firsts"...the first curbside blooms, the first 75
degree day, the first tastes from an outside grill. Here's a story of
a very special first: Meet Jeremiah!
Jeremiah is the first baby born in 2024 at Freedom House, a regional
center we run for pregnant and parenting women in crisis. The
atmosphere at Freedom House, of hope and fresh starts, is palpable.
It's where little Jeremiah and his mom Betty found their new
beginning, thanks to compassionate friends like you.
These moms have faced steep hurdles. Hunger, homelessness, and deep
traumas. Be part of life-changing response and support. Start your

At VOA, Betty started therapy and got the tools to overcome her
