Check out the latest poll in our race, conducted by Emerson College:
🟦 Elissa Slotkin 41.6%
🟥 Mike Rogers 39.8%
🟪 Undecided 18.6%
Margin of error: +/- 3
In other words, the Senate race in Michigan is in a statistical tie, with approximately 1 in 5 voters still undecided.
Because Michigan is a battleground state and Democrats hold a slim majority in the Senate, those undecided voters’ decisions will determine not only which party controls the Senate, but also who will be our next president.
And over the next 180 days, national Republicans will spend millions of dollars on TV ads, digital ads, door-to-door canvassers, mail, and much more with the goal of reaching the 18.6% of voters who are still making up their minds.
In fact, we’ve already seen ads from one of our Republican opponents and DC Republicans attacking Elissa directly. And we can expect more are on the way.
And just this week, Donald Trump stood on stage and called Elissa a “far left liberal lunatic”— and made it clear she is one of his top targets this November.
This poll is a reminder of just how much hangs in the balance in this race, how slim the margins will be, and how much our decisions today will impact the results in November.
In light of this new poll, will you consider making a donation to our campaign? We have a lot of voters to talk to and small donations from individuals like you are the main way we fund our campaign.
