We are living in unprecedented times, Friend. The spread of COVID-19 has been exacerbated by a mistrust of science, racism, and the failure of our government to protect public health — the same root issues that have caused the climate crisis.

It's more important than ever to fight for what is important, including the health and safety of our communities. Fifty years ago, the Cuyahoga river fire in Cleveland sparked the first Earth Day and the passage of critical environmental legislation, including the creation of the EPA. In 2020, we are continuing that legacy to fight for our health, our safety, and our planet.

Since the 1970s, the League of Conservation Voters has built power for people and the planet, and we are not stopping now! Climate activists and organizers around the country — and the world! — are using creative digital strategies to continue holding our elected officials accountable.
