The Senate Conservatives Fund proudly endorses Captain Sam Brown for the U.S. Senate in Nevada.
Sam Brown was raised in a small town in Arkansas, where he was taught the value of service. He graduated from West Point, was commissioned as an Infantry Officer, and was deployed to Afghanistan.
During a security mission in 2008, while Sam was trying to help another platoon that had been ambushed by the Taliban, his vehicle hit a roadside bomb that nearly killed him.
Engulfed in flames, he dropped to the ground, screaming for help, but found no relief from the pain. He recalls thinking: “How long does it take to burn to death? What is the transition from this life to the next going to be like?”
In complete isolation, he gave up the will to live until he heard a voice.
“Sir, I’ve got you!”
That began a long journey of physical healing, spiritual awakening, and a new vision for service in his life.
Now, joined by his wife, Amy, and their three children, Sam is running for the U.S. Senate to fight for the principles of freedom that make America great.
