John,

It's a disturbing situation that we are seeing more and more.

Property management companies are confiscating Bibles and other religious material from low income housing. These management companies are operating under the purview of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We cannot allow this form of religious discrimination to go unchecked.

We're taking on new clients who are reaching out to us.

Now we're mobilizing the full resources of the ACLJ. Our Government Affairs team is reaching out to HUD to end this abuse. Our legal team is preparing demand letters to the management company.

In addition, we're preparing to submit formal public comments directly to HUD in support of a critical rule change that would end an Obama-era rule that discriminates against faith-based organizations and churches by keeping them from working with HUD.

For more than 30 years, the ACLJ has been defending religious liberty at the highest levels. We just ensured that churches could receive aid in the Coronavirus bill.

Now our deadline to take action at HUD is in just 5 days, and we need YOU.

Sign Our Petition: Don't Ban the Bible in HUD Housing.
