A dangerous crisis is unfolding on college campuses and we must act swiftly to protect our students.

In recent days, anti-Zionist student groups on dozens of U.S. college and university campuses have created “encampments” to protest Israel’s actions in Gaza — and their schools’ alleged “complicity” in those actions.

In a place where students should feel safe to focus on learning and enjoying their independence, Jewish students are being harassed and threatened, and they fear for their safety.

Some protesters at Columbia University, including students from the encampments, have repeatedly expressed explicit support for violence.

One protester stated: “Remember the 7th of October? That will happen not one more time, not five more times... but 10,000 more times.” And hostility like this is rapidly spreading to other campuses around the country.

We are at a tipping point. Enough is enough.

Since October 7, we’ve seen a shocking 423% increase in antisemitic incidents on college campuses — and unfortunately it will likely continue to rise. Today, 17 percent of Gen-Z agrees that the solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict should be “the termination of the state of Israel.”
