Dear Friend,

A diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease changes everything. People are often scared and uncertain about where their journey will take them. They have questions. They need answers. They turn to the Alzheimer's Association.

Today, I'm turning to you. We urgently need your help to make this $200,000 2X Match Challenge a success by raising the funds we need to achieve our challenge goal and to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

I believe we can meet this challenge by working together to make twice the impact. But there isn't much time left. Right now, every day counts — and so does every dollar you can give. I know that you care about people living with Alzheimer's, and I hope you'll make your first gift to support our fight today while it can DOUBLE in impact.

Donate Now

This $200,000 2X Match Challenge is made possible thanks to generous supporters Jim and Kelli, who have pledged a $200,000 gift to the Alzheimer's Association to support research efforts in honor of their mothers, Joan and Mary — but only if we can raise that same amount by May 13, the day after Mother's Day. Because of their generosity, any gift you make can be matched to support critical research efforts and help provide much-needed care and support.

On behalf of those impacted by Alzheimer's, make 2X the impact now.
$16 can become $32.
$30 can become $60.
$50 can become $100.
Double my impact now.

At the Association, we receive calls and online inquiries every day from people who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and their loved ones. When you give during this challenge, your support can go twice as far to advance research efforts to end this disease and to help them with resources like these:
  • Our free, 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900), staffed with master's-level clinicians qualified to discuss treatment options, offer information about legal, financial and care decisions and more.
  • ALZNavigator, an interactive online tool that guides individuals living with the disease and their loved ones to create a plan of action, including legal and financial planning, caregiver support, driving and more.
  • ALZ Connected®, a free online community where anyone impacted by Alzheimer's can share concerns and offer support — so that no one has to feel alone.
When you give generously today, your support can do all that and more.

THE IMPACT OF YOUR GENEROSITY

Friend, as one of our most committed partners in this fight, you know that Alzheimer's is relentless. On average, a person with Alzheimer's lives four to eight years after diagnosis, but they can live as long as 20 years, depending on other factors. During that time, this thief of a disease will rob people of their memories, independence, control, time and, ultimately, life. We must be just as relentless in our work together to change the trajectory of this disease.

They will turn to us. Today, I'm turning to you. Will you please make your gift now?
