Dear John

Equality is something everyone agrees on: all people should be treated fairly, whether by society, peers, colleagues, or the law.

This is a universal principle that binds humanity and most certainly binds Australians.

However, when the left advocates for 'equality,' they don't mean treating people fairly or equally; they want 'equality of outcome'.

'Equality of outcome' is a myth, fanciful, and nonexistent—it's a bitter pill to swallow, but a myth nonetheless.

Society can never deliver 'equality of outcome' for anyone, and it's certainly not the role of government to do so.

To paraphrase the American Constitution: everyone is at liberty to pursue happiness. Everyone has the same liberty to pursue their own interpretation of happiness. Some people don't hold happiness as a life goal, and that's perfectly fine; that's your right.

Sometimes luck throws a wildcard, good or bad, but life's outcomes are never the same for two people. People should be given every chance to to be free in their pursuit of what makes them happy. Freedom is what the government should provide for Australians to thrive.

____________

Everyone should be treated equally, and no one have special privileges. This week our Queensland MP, Steve Andrew (Mirani) caused a stir when he made a call in parliament for Queensland to stop its path to treaty process.

_____________

We all die at different stages, partner with people (personally or in business), have different approaches to life, and are raised by different parents. These factors, among many others, are the reasons why people's outcomes can never be the same.

Sometimes, with limited resources, humans achieve their best, especially when competing against others with more.

The human spirit is what drives someone who may be a single mum running a small fish and chip shop in Ipswich to become a major political force, still going strong after nearly 30 years. Pauline Hanson, now in her 70th year, has had dozens of people elected under her name.

The core tenet of One Nation’s belief system is plain: everyone should work their hardest to make the best of what life throws at them. If you find yourself a single mum with four kids, open a small business, put everything on the line, and work hard. Who knows, one day you might serve in both houses of federal parliament, be president of your own political party, kick goals, and make a profound difference to our mighty nation.

Or you might whine and complain, hoping the government will solve all your problems and take away the pain. But surely, if you want the government to solve all your problems, you’re barking up the wrong tree.

In a scene reminiscent of Alan Garner's (Zac Galifianakis) intervention in Hangover III, Labor has some serious immigration news to discuss with Albo. But... but, Albo's the Prime Minister, and women should listen to him because he's important.

The only part missing from this week's hilarious episode is, in recognition of The Hangover series, Albo storming in and demanding women servants make him an Oreo Smoothy. Alan Garner from "The Hangover III" and Anthony Albanese could be likened to a duo of hapless adventurers stumbling through life, occasionally tripping over their own shoelaces, with stained shirts and a slothful approach, neither would make a suitable Prime Minister.
