Overnight closures to London Road Island and Lower Parliament Street continue

We're carrying out resurfacing works on London Road Roundabout, Lower Parliament Street, Hollow Stone and Fisher Gate which means overnight closures are necessary.

Works began *Sunday 7 April 2024* and will take place overnight *Monday to Friday 10pm to 6am* for four weeks. Road closures will be in place with signed diversions.

Given the location of the works – Nottingham City Council has been working closely with the Motorpoint Arena to ensure that road closures will not have significant impacts on people leaving the arena. *On nights when there are events finishing later in the evening road closures will start at 11pm so concert goers can leave the area before works begin.*

Maid Marian Way works begin Tuesday 7 May
plan

Works begin on Tuesday 7 May on our Maid Marian Way scheme, a project being delivered using grant funding secured from Central Government through the Future High Street Fund programme. 

The Council does anticipate some disruption to traffic throughout this project and apologises for this inconvenience. 

From Tuesday, lanes of the roundabout will be closed with some pedestrian crossings also affected.

Tram trackworks 18 & 19 May

Trackworks at David Lane will see tram services replaced with a bus service and tram stops, including Phoenix Park, Cinderhill, Highbury Vale (both mainline and branch line platforms), David Lane and Basford closed.
