Caring for Our Own: Masjid & Imam Support Dear Supporter, AMP is proud to join with the broader Muslim community in supporting the “Caring for Our Own: Masjid & Imam Support” campaign. Islamic Centers across the country have had to close their doors for the well-being of the community during this crisis. This has made it very difficult for Islamic Centers to raise the necessary funds to pay their staff members. This campaign aims to raise the necessary funds to help these Islamic Centers around the country cover their costs.
Our Islamic Centers and Imams have for long been on the front line supporting our organizations, community and nation. They provide solace and they uplift spirits even when they themselves are suffering. This is the time to stand with them and return part of the favor.
