Thank you for your tireless support of ranked choice voting, especially in this year’s very long and complicated legislative process. We were initially expecting the House to vote today on an amendment that would have included the Ranked Choice Voting Local Option back into the House Elections Finance Omnibus bill. That vote has been taken off the schedule and instead the House will be voting on the standalone bill NEXT WEEK.

Watch for notice of the floor hearing early next week and if you can, join us tomorrow (Fri) for a Ways & Means hearing on the standalone bill at 9am in room 200 of the State Office Building. 

Please continue to reach out to your representatives to let them know that RCV needs to be a priority in the final weeks of this session.

A big thank you to everyone who was able to once again accommodate the legislature’s chaotic schedule and show up on short notice. We packed the house with orange t-shirts and made sure our legislators know how important RCV is to their constituents. There’s only a few short weeks left of the legislative session — let’s keep up the energy and finish strong.
