I wanted to personally reach out on behalf of everyone at Make-A-Wish® to say thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

As Chief Integrated Fundraising Officer, I’ve been talking a lot about how World Wish Month™ is one of the most important fundraising moments of the entire year for our mission. And this caring, dedicated community met the moment with profound generosity.

Because of you and everyone who became a WishMaker® during World Wish Month, more kids will now get to experience the life-changing hope and strength of a wish as they grow up with a critical illness.

These wishes give kids the chance to be a kid again and get a crucial piece of their childhood back, but the impact of a wish goes so far beyond a fun-filled experience. Medical providers agree that wishes are a necessary part of a child’s medical journey – often creating turning points in their treatment and recovery and leading to better overall health outcomes.

That’s what makes our mission so important. And that’s what makes your generosity so impactful – especially during a time as meaningful as World Wish Month.
