In the last two years, we’ve seen a relentless attack on women’s rights.

john,

Two years ago, Politico released the leaked Supreme Court opinion that overturned Roe v. Wade. Just a few weeks later, the decision was confirmed in the disastrous ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson.

Here’s what’s happened since then:

  • Dozens of states have eliminated protections for abortions, forcing women to travel across state lines to receive the care they need.

  • GOP legislators and conservative judges have come after medication abortion, the doctors who perform abortions, in-vitro fertilization (IVF), and other forms of reproductive healthcare.

  • Donald Trump has doubled down on his radical stances on abortion. His campaign team is already drafting executive orders to repeal abortion access if he makes it back to the White House.

In the last two years, we’ve seen a relentless attack on women’s rights. Overturning Roe v. Wade was not the end of the anti-abortion movement’s efforts.

I’ll admit, john, some days the challenge of protecting reproductive freedoms seems insurmountable.

But then I remember all of the people we have in the fight to protect abortion access. Voters from coast to coast who have cast their ballots to safeguard reproductive rights and elect pro-choice candidates. Activists marching and protesting for their freedoms. Candidates stepping up to run for office for the first time to protect abortion access.

So when the right wing continues to come after reproductive rights, just remember how many people are fighting alongside us.

john, will you chip in to my efforts to support candidates who will protect abortion access? Any amount will help us safeguard reproductive rights.
