Convention, Candidates, and Signatures

Join us at our biggest event yet.

<[link removed]>

One of the best days since the forming of the PA Forward Party was May 20, 2023 when we had our first PA Forward Summit. We took huge organizational steps and met many people in person for the first time.

Many things have changed since then. We've had affiliation events and even got our first Forwardist in office. We've had new supporters, volunteers, and leaders join our ranks.?

Now, as we work towards what is by far, our most ambitious election season since we started, please join us to look to the future. We've sometimes been referred to as a group for the politically homeless. That won't feel true when you're with so many people working to build a place we can all call home.?

Where:?

Gettysburg Hilton Garden Inn
1061 York Road
Gettysburg, PA 17325

When:?

June 1st, 2024 - 10am - 6pm

Lunch and drink are included with the $30 ticket price.

Supporting Candidates that Support Voters

We hope everyone has had a chance to learn about our two 2024 State wide candidates, Eric Settle for Attorney General <[link removed]> and Chris Foster for Treasurer <[link removed]>. Eric and Chris are doing a great job getting the word out about what we're doing and we're proud to have them represent us at the top of the PA ballot this year.

We were so excited to have an event this month <[link removed]> affiliating with Cameron Schroy. Andrew Yang joined our statewide candidates in Gettysburg to back Cameron in his attempt to defeat Doug Mastriano. Cameron is proud to be a Forward Democrat and will represent us well.?

We've also endorsed John Mamatas for House district 32 in Eastern Allegheny County. He's new to politics and we're proud to work with John in his attempt to give his district a choice this November and prevent the seat from being filled by party insiders.

These are just some of the candidates we'll be working with this year. If you know of someone we should work with, please let us know or just have the candidate fill out this Form <[link removed]>.

All Our Hard Work Relies on Signatures

We've all put a lot of time and effort to get our party in the place we're in. This November, every Pennsylvanian can have at least 2 Forward Party candidates on their ballot and we can be a recognized Minor Party all across the state.?Whether that happens or not depends on all of us collecting the signatures to get these candidates on the ballot.

Our initial goal is to collect at least 5000 signatures by mid June. That is fewer Pennsylvanians than we currently have in our email lists so we should absolutely be able to reach this number - but we need YOUR help. We had a great start on Primary Day and need to keep up the effort. We have about a dozen volunteers currently collecting signatures across the state. If you have spent more than a few hours wondering how you can help, this is your moment.

If you are not able to help as a Signature Gatherer, please reach out to your Regional Chair to make a plan to meet up and sign onto Papers for your county. Your signature alone helps us toward our goal.

It's still a work in progress but it's a big step up from the very basic one we have been using. If you have technical experience with building out websites and have been looking for a chance to help out, please let us know.? ?

Join us May 20th at 8pm for our Monthly Statewide call to talk about Convention, Candidates, and Signatures.

Here are our other goals for 2024:

- We will run a Statewide Candidate who wins 2% of the statewide total.
- We will run several State House Candidates in the hopes of winning enough to prevent either of the major parties from achieving a majority.
- We will build our volunteer base across the Commonwealth.
- We will identify & develop leaders at the Regional & County levels.
- We will dramatically increase the number of monthly donors.
