The Livestrong Wristband, the iconic accessory that sparked a global movement, turns 20 this month! In honor of this anniversary, all month long, we'll be sharing stories of people in our community who exemplify what it means to Livestrong. Meet Paul.

Paul's life seemed to be finally getting on track with the birth of his daughter Natalie. They shared a special bond, and Paul was active, enjoying marathons and triathlons. All was well until he was diagnosed with stage III colorectal cancer.

Looking for guidance, Paul reached out to Livestrong and was connected with resources that helped him understand what to expect through his cancer treatment journey. A symbol of hope, he refused to take off his wristband "unless medically necessary."

Paul was determined to be an example of strength to his daughter, not wanting to miss a milestone as she grew up. Six months after chemo, he finished an Ironman triathlon, earning himself the title "Iron Dad."

Whether their goal is to get active again, add to their family, or simply get back on their feet, cancer survivors like Paul need our support. Will you improve a survivor's day with a gift to our quality-of-life programs that help them Livestrong?
