Friend, two years ago today the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade leaked to the public. So much has happened since then, including a near-total abortion ban here in Texas.
Restoring abortion access is a big part of why I decided to run against Ted Cruz, and I'm more committed than ever to this fight. But I need your help to show him that this grassroots team believes in standing up for freedom.
Will you join me in this fight by signing our petition to support codifying Roe v. Wade into federal law?

I know this fight is personal for so many of you, and it is for me too, friend. When Aly and I first found out she was pregnant, we were over the moon. We imagined our baby's life unfolding before us – the person they'd grow into, and the loving parents we'd be.
But we were nervous, too. We held our breath at every OB-GYN appointment. We awaited the results of every test, hoping Aly’s doctor wouldn’t call us and share the news every expectant parent fears: that there was something wrong with our baby.
Tragically, women in Texas who get that unimaginable news today are being denied the lifesaving abortion care they need because politicians like Ted Cruz have decided they know better than women and their doctors.
Ted Cruz and the GOP's extreme attacks on our fundamental freedoms are reprehensible, and Texans deserve so much better.
I will always fight for Texans' fundamental freedoms, and I promise I'll work to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law when I make it to the Senate – but I can't do it alone. I need to know that this team is standing with me in our fight against anti-choice extremists like Ted Cruz.
That's why I am personally asking you today: Will you add your name to my petition to show your support for codifying Roe v. Wade into federal law? I'm counting on every single one of my supporters to step up and join me in my fight against this extremism. →
