Dear John, Enthusiastic crowds. Inspiring speeches. The shared conviction that every human life has value. It’s the biggest pro-life event of the year, and it’s just weeks away. Will you join thousands of pro-life advocates outside the state Capitol in Salem on Saturday, May 18, for the Oregon March for Life? During last year’s March, we celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which put an end to nearly half a century of federal abortion precedent. The end of Roe means we can do so much more to protect the unborn through our elected representatives. Some states have already passed laws that protect developing human babies, but Oregon isn’t among them. It’s heartbreaking, but Oregon is one of the most extreme states in the country when it comes to abortion. We can change that. That’s why this year we’re marching in May: the same month that Oregon legalized abortion in 1969, years before Roe. At the 2024 Oregon March for Life, we’ll gather to remember the lives lost to abortion in our state. We’ll send a clear message to our leaders that the unborn deserve protection. We can’t wait to see you there. Because unborn Oregonians deserve an advocate, Lois Anderson P.S. Can’t get enough pro-life activism? Neither can we! Make sure to mark your calendar for Celebrate Life Month this June. Throughout each action-packed week, we’ll help you promote a culture of life in your own community in a variety of fun and easy ways. Click here to learn more and sign up today. |
