Two years ago today, the U.S. Supreme Court's Dobbs decision that eventually overturned Roe v. Wade was leaked.

This was a major moment in our fight—it was proof that Donald Trump and his allies had achieved their goal of an anti-abortion majority on the Supreme Court, one that would be willing to overturn Roe and strip away our constitutional right to abortion.

It also demonstrated how biased and corrupt our judiciary branch had become, thanks to the GOP's decades-long strategy to stack courts across the country with anti-abortion extremists. The legitimacy of our judiciary branch has continued to plummet in the two years since the leak, as more and more allegations of ethics violations and corruption by judges have been uncovered.

The Supreme Court is now poised to rule in two major abortion cases. One of these cases will decide if mifepristone, an extremely safe and effective pill used in medication abortion care and miscarriage management, will be significantly restricted. The other case will decide if doctors will be forced to deny pregnant people life-saving abortion care.

It is unconscionable that the conservative justices, several of whom have been accused of bias and corruption, get to decide what happens to our lives and our freedoms.

So we're fighting back. We're calling for court reform, working to elect politicians who can help make it happen, and preparing to respond no matter what the Court decides in these two cases.
