Hi there,

We have good news and bad news to share with you today.

The good news: Thanks to our incredible supporters, we raised more money in the month of April than ever before since we started!! This momentum is amazing!

The bad news: Summer is just around the corner, and for organizations like ours, it can be a very slow season for fundraising.

But here’s the thing, our fundraising from now until September will dictate our budget for the fall (aka ELECTION SEASON…) when it counts the most for our candidates.

We are proud to have already endorsed 25 incredible, fiercely pro-choice women candidates running for office up and down the ballot and across the country this year, and we are still in the process of meeting with more almost every day. Will you rush $20.24 to help us get ahead of the summer fundraising slump so we can keep our programs going strong from now until the fall?

This year, we are supporting incredible women candidates, including:

Whitney Fox for Florida's 13th Congressional District: Whitney is running against a self-described "pro-life extremist.” Florida will vote on a constitutional amendment regarding abortion this November. Reproductive care will be a defining issue in this race. Plus, this district has been identified as a flippable seat by the DCCC (!!!!).

Allie Phillips for the TN House of Representatives: After Allie was forced to leave the state for a medically necessary, life-saving abortion, her representative, Rep. Jeff Burkhart (R), responded to her story by saying that If his own daughter had been in Phillips’s position, he’d have wanted her to continue the pregnancy. He also said he didn’t realize miscarriages could occur after a first-time pregnancy… (???)

Allie is running for HIS SEAT in the TN House of Representatives, in a district that Democrats have identified as flippable.

Alyshia Dyer for Sheriff in Washtenaw County: Alyshia wants to increase female representation in the police force. Having a mostly white and male police force has negatively impacted the force’s effectiveness in their domestic violence responses, particularly for Black and Brown women. Officers will say that they “don’t see injuries,” not understanding how bruising and harm can show up on different skin colors. Alyshia wants to change that.

We are proud to have endorsed these incredible women running for office up and down the ballot, and this is only the beginning. However, we need support to keep up the momentum to ensure we can provide them with enough support to win in the fall.

We’re building something extraordinary that is resonating with people who care about women and the issues they face. Will you please rush $20.24 or give even more generously today before the inevitable Summer Slump so we can continue our programs ahead of the fall? Our fundraising from now until September will dictate our budget for the fall (aka ELECTION SEASON…) when it counts the most for our candidates.
