Donald Trump sat down for an interview with TIME magazine to discuss his plans if he wins in November—and if he doesn’t.

Courier

John,

Did you hear about Trump’s new interview with TIME?

In it, he detailed his next term as President, including pardoning the January 6th rioters and not hiring anyone to work in his administration who believed that Joe Biden had won the 2020 election fairly.

Distressingly, he also suggested there might be political violence if he lost.

John, if it wasn’t clear already, it’s painfully obvious now. Donald Trump is not running for president; he’s running to be a dictator, and our democracy is in peril.

So why is the mainstream media covering him like it’s 2016 again?

We’ll explain in a second, but if you already support our mission to hold the mainstream media accountable for their biased and lazy Trump coverage, can you chip in $15 to help us out?

To boost ratings and clicks, the mainstream media incessantly covered Trump’s rallies and chaos in 2016.

The constant coverage helped Trump, and after he won, many criticized the outdated “both sides” media coverage that blatantly ignored the threat Trump posed to democracy.

But all that was before January 6th and Trump’s shameful attempt to steal the election. The world knows better now, but the media is acting like nothing’s changed.

Consider, for example, The New York Times. According to reports, they’re embroiled in a petty feud with the Biden campaign, which has some wondering if their coverage is slanted toward Trump.

MSNBC and CNN have covered Trump’s legal woes constantly, even going live to his outside-the-courtroom rants and gratuitous coverage of his motorcade winding its way through New York.

Now, TIME has given him a platform to share his plans for his next term, and he has done nothing to hide his authoritarian ambition.

And they give him this ridiculous hero shot on the front page of their magazine:

We founded COURIER as a direct response to the mainstream media’s failure to cover Donald Trump and the threat he poses to our democracy.

We’re not afraid to call Trump what he is – a wannabe dictator who is willing to do anything, including attacking our constitution, to stay in power.

But fighting back against the mainstream media takes resources, John. Our ten battleground newsrooms across the country rely on contributions from supporters like you to keep the lights on. Can you chip in $15 to support our fearless coverage?
