Dear John,

We are excited to announce that White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will be honored with the 2024 Trailblazer Award at our upcoming DC Spring Reception on Tuesday, May 21, from 6 to 8 pm ET. Karine will join fellow honoree Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su, who will receive the 2024 Impact Award.

Karine has consistently championed the rights of LGBTQ+ communities in her work. Her commitment to unapologetic visibility in her position has established a precedent where none existed before. She is the first Black person and first openly queer person to serve as White House Press Secretary, and we honor the voice she gives to our communities.

We hope you can join us on May 21.
