Meredith Sumpter has had a busy first month as FairVote’s president and CEO. She has hit the ground running, meeting key allies and helping craft our strategic plan for the next four years. We want to give you a chance to get to know her, too.

Meredith previously served as CEO and president of the Board for the Council for Inclusive Capitalism and the Coalition for Inclusive Capitalism. Meredith grew up in Alaska, one of two states currently using RCV for statewide elections. Early in her career, she served as an aide to Sen. Lisa Murkowski, who won Alaska’s first RCV election for U.S. Senate in 2022.
