Congressman Eric Swalwell here—asking for a super quick moment of your time, and trust me it will be worth it.

Nearly every day I wake up to headlines about some new chaos and dysfunction caused by the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, and the rest of the so-called “Freedom Caucus.” From doing Vladimir Putin’s bidding, to threatening to fire the Republican Speaker of the House (again!) for the unforgivable sin of not being MAGA enough—the Freedom Caucus is a wholly destructive force in Congress. 

And now we are witnessing mini Freedom Caucuses spawning in states across the country, including Missouri, which currently has in place one of the most restrictive abortion bans of any state. 

That’s where my friend Joe Pereles comes in. Joe is all around one of the hardest working, most considerate, and upstanding people I know. And he is on a mission to shut down the Freedom Caucus in Missouri by flipping a crucial State Senate seat from red to blue in November.
