Blue: Piglet Saved by Student From Slaughter

With one look into Blue’s sky-blue eyes, it’s easy to see why he won the heart of the compassionate student who spoke up for him — and impossible to see how anyone could choose to hurt him.
Blue was raised as part of Future Farmers of America (FFA), an organization partly aimed at teaching children to raise farm animals for agriculture. However, Blue’s young guardian and her family had come to cherish him as an individual. To avoid auction or slaughter, they urgently turned to Farm Sanctuary to find Blue a permanent home free from harm.
