Two years ago today, the Supreme Court’s radical decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was leaked to the public — and the dangerous, destructive impacts of this decision to rip away the right to choose have been felt by millions of women across the country.

Here in Pennsylvania, I’m proud to say that a woman’s right to choose is protected. But we also can’t ignore the unrelenting attacks that are being launched by anti-choice extremists across the country every day.

As long as I’m governor, I will protect the right to access abortion care – and I’ll never stop fighting to protect the right to choose. If you’re with me and believe in a pro-choice Pennsylvania, chip in today:

Let’s not mince any words: a fundamental freedom was stolen from millions of women across America two years ago today.

Since then, more than twenty states have enacted dangerous abortion bans — and we’ve already seen the horrifying effects of these draconian laws:

Pregnant women turned away at emergency rooms. Rape survivors forced to give birth. Doctors facing potential prosecution for simply treating their patients.

This is what “leaving it up to the states” looks like, John.

These bans rip away the autonomy of women and put power directly in the hands of extremist politicians. More than ever before, we need to stand up and defend reproductive rights in Pennsylvania and across the country — but I can’t do it on my own.
